2008 Dog Walk And Show & Go

Join us for our 2008 Dog Walk And Show & Go to be held on Saturday, September 6 from 8 am to 4 pm at the Shikellamy State Park Marina in Sunbury, PA.

New this year is a Show & Go event by The Central PA Dog Training Club and The Williamsport Dog Training Club. The Show & Go will include Obedience, Rally, Agility, and Conformation (Fun Match Format). Registration will be from 9 am to noon with a 9:30 am start. There will be plenty of parking. For more information on the Show & Go, contact Sally at 570-523-7468 or sjordan@evanhospital.com. Or contact Lana at 570-772-1414 or lana@pawandhand.com. Click here to see more information on the Show & Go or go to CPDTC's web site.

We will also have food, live music, local/regional rescue groups, and vendors with animal related merchandise. All the proceeds from our food stand and merchandise table will go towards our low-cost spay/neuter program for low income families in our three county area. Please feel free to bring your family and friends to watch the Show & Go event. Admission is free!

Everyone is welcome to be a part of our Dog Walk. This year it will be an informal dog walk - no registration or raising of funds required. Feel free to walk around the park at your leisure with your dog. Anyone who donates any amount of money to our organization will receive a free dog walk bandana for their four legged friend.

The Susquehanna Trail Dog Training Club will be offering Therapy Dog and Canine Good Citizen testing at our event as well. Dogs being tested must be wearing a buckle collar or harness and owners must present proof of current rabies vaccination and dog license. Please call Connie Cuff at 570-286-9537 to register.

VENDORS/ORGANIZATIONS - Click here to download our Vendor/Organization form. New this year - we are not charging a fee to be a part of our event but you must either be a animal related organization or sell animal related merchandise and pre-register using the provided form. Because of the Show & Go, we do expect quite a number of visitors that day.

2007 Festival & Dog Walk

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! We had a great Festival & Dog Walk in 2007. Overall, over $5,000 was raised during the event. Thanks again for supporting our spay/neuter program.

2006 Festival & Dog Walk

WELL WE DID IT AGAIN! We had another very successful Festival & Dog Walk which will go a long way to helping spay or neuter local cats and dogs owned by low-income families and individuals in our three county area. From the funds that our wonderful dog walkers raised to the donations we received, we brought in approximately $6,500 which truly awesome. Thanks again!

2005 Festival & Dog Walk

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT! Our 2005 Festival & Dog Walk was a howling success. The weather was perfect and people kept telling us what a great time they were having. There were so many dogs of all sizes and colors. During our event, we raised close to $5,000 with all the proceeds going towards our low cost spay/neuter program for pets of low income individuals and families.
