Our
organization's primary mission is to assist low-income
individuals and families in Columbia, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, and Union
counties with the cost of spaying or neutering of
their pets through our low-cost spay/neuter programs. Many of the local veterinary hospitals have offered us
reduced rates to help our organization stretch program funds.
Our
low-cost spay/neuter programs are for low-income families and individuals only and
is based upon a sliding scale of total household gross income.
Households above $35,000 do not qualify for our programs. In regards
to our two branches, you must apply for assistance based upon on the
county you currently resided in.
Applications
for the C/M branch low-cost spay/neuter program can be picked up at
our thrift store located on 203 East 5th Street in Bloomsburg. The
store hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm. Click here

Applications for
the S/U/N branch low-cost spay/neuter
program can be picked up at any of the below participating
veterinary hospitals. If
you are unable to visit one of them, you can download the S/U/N application here
(Adobe PDF format).
Please
fill out the application, enclosing your proof of income and
co-payment, and mail them to PA P.E.T.S. After
we receive your application, it will be reviewed by our
organization. If your application is approved, you will be contacted by
our Appointment Secretary. Do not make a vet appointment until we
contact you. Our program and your co-pay covers only the cost of the surgery. You
are responsible for any other charges.
If
you know of someone who is is need of our assistance, please pick up
an application for them. We depend on the general public to help us with our
mission of reducing the number of unwanted animals in our region.
